Officer Tom Flynn recognized as the "Officer of the Quarter"

We would like to congratulate Officer Tom Flynn for being selected as the “Officer of the Quarter” in April. Officer Flynn has been with the department since 2013. He is assigned to the night patrol division and is a member of our bicycle unit. In February he was called to a residence for a report of a past larceny. During this time he spoke with an 84 year old victim who told him that approximately $1,200 cash was missing from one of her drawers. Off. Flynn conducted a thorough investigation, and with the assistance of our detective division they were able to establish probable cause that a cleaner that had access to this area during had indeed stolen the money. The employee has been terminated and charges are pending with retribution soon to be made to the victim.
