TEMPORARY PROCEDURE FOR ALL FIREARMS LICENSE PROCESSING

  • All applicants will be contacted by telephone to schedule further processing of applications that have been received. Until further notice, all processing will be done by appointment and when licensing Officers are available. Renewals will need to come to the station to sign the paperwork needed to complete the process. New applicants will also require fingerprinting.
  • All persons entering the Public Safety Building are required to wear a face covering. We ask that if you are ill, have a fever or cough, or live/work/been in contact with someone who is ill or under quarantine, please do not come in to the building.
  • We will be contacting applicants to schedule appointments in the order we received their applications.
  • A reminder to all renewal applicants: if you have submitted your application for renewal prior to your current license expiration date then your current license will remain active until the new license is issued.
  • Please be patient, we will do our best to accommodate all applicants. We appreciate your assistance and understanding during this difficult time.
