The Wakefield Police Department, Fire Department and The Middlesex County Sherrif's Department hosted a group of local youths at the the Wakefield Public Safety Building on July 14th. This program is a yearly Summer program held throughout Middlesex County for youths to explore the world of public safety.
Officer Meaghan Leary is the liaison for this program for the Wakefield Police. Officer Leary brings her many years of experience and enthusiasm for law enforcement to this program and is well received by the youths.
All participants come away from this program with a great understanding of the public safety entities that serve our community.
